Dear Svetlana Gladkova, there’s a little thing called “modesty“, many people appreciate it a lot, including me. For example, if I would like to be “immodest” in similar way to you, then I could say that you’re a sucky editor of a blog filled full with copycat news (have you ever published any original stories? Afraid not…), and at the moment it looks like I can say that even my poor SPAMS are more SUCCESSFUL than all of your hopeless doings.

Actually a non-derogatory slang term for the word girl. This word was probably a spanglish derivative from the spanish word “chica” meaning, of all things, girl.

Of course, there’s one another option, dedicated to this kind of girls that generally don’t prefer being called a chick, fox, pussycat, knockout, eyepopper, stallion, or any other common, inoffensive word. If you wish, this one may well refer to you instead of the previous one:

After few days of silence finally I’m back. Despite of the fact that most of readers are not interested in reading about more personal stuff in general, there are few things worth to share in a post. This time it’s a piece of my software ramblings - finally I’ve upgraded my Ubuntu to Feisty Fawn (the newest stable release) through the standard system upgrade. You see, after every Linux installation my system is in a dramatical need of LOTS of fixes (it’s related to my hardware & personal habits), so I’m too lazy to keep the current version and keep digging in config files every time new version is released. Especially if paths of all these fixes change in time with the growth of system, forcing to seek on and on again.

This time I decided to give a try to automatic system upgrade and there’s a little surprise - my Ubuntu works as well as before, with no comparison to my previous Linux experience. That’s great - soon we will be able to ask people “why don’t you try Ubuntu” without being worried about number of possible problems they can get after removing M$ Windows from their hard drives.

Anyway, I’m ready to next upgrade

Future possible improvements
Maybe some opportunity to choose websites by number of indexed pages would be a nice addition to their offer. The biggest improvement I would like to see may well be an alternative to Google PageRank. Thanks to the miff of Google all sites that were established earlier than beginning of this year are underestimated (period of time listed in case of number of sites I own, guess yours do similar), and there’s still no good way to monetize it with ANY text links sales. I’m afraid this sick situation may not change soon, so you link brokers will have to develop it on your own. Especially if both Yahoo and Microsoft are not going to take it over and all PageRanks will be getting more and more outdated & useless (which seems to be the major goal for Google at the moment, in my humble opinion).

One month ago I decided to prove which nation is the prettiest one, now I’m trying to post respective Czech pretty girls one by one. Stay tuned, I’m gonna do it more frequently and hit 10 before the end of this month (yeah right, and finally I did not hit 5 before the end of the year)

Her name is Veronica Varekova. She comes from the east of the Czech Republic. Veronika was born in June 1977, in Olomouc. Veronica Varekova appeared in the Sports Illustrated exactly 6 times, also her photos were featured in Maxim, Cosmopolitan, and lots of other color magazines which I’m not gonna mention there. Some of readers can recognize her face from Nivea’s marketing campaign.

It’s quite surprising how many people don’t know how to use tag clouds - they are not for search engines, they are for your visitors to see which topics do you focus on. Recently I tried to share a piece of advice with Jonathan, I told him that having one hundred of links within sidebar is not a good idea. In response to my little comment Jonathan pointed that he works as a PROFESSIONAL SEO and he doesn’t need any advices from n00bs like me. Yes my friends, it looks like there are some professional SEOs that don’t even know how the search engines work (to say nothing of correct use of nofollow parameter), but who caress - in fact there was no need to put the flame on his name and include that hopples little suck within my post about Tag Clouds BUT…

Today I visit his website and what can I see? Jonathan has removed ALL of comments added below his poor entry! This is really nice, isn’t it? Unfortunately, Ginside blog has no caching, so I don’t have any proofing…

Recent PageRank export was made exactly 152 days ago, pretty pesky doesn’t it? If Googlers are not going to update goddamn green progress bar, why they still don’t want to remove it? Lack of PageRank is not a problem, the REAL problem is the fact that everybody puts the matter on it, so it might be pretty detrimental for owners of all sites that were established only few months ago.

Let alone inessential problem of paid links - if your site was not landed earlier than one year ago, currently there’s simply no way to sell this website (or get advertisers and monetize it) for a tolerable price. That’s sick…

There’s also one another important question - why others (Microsoft, Yahoo, maybe Ask.com?) don’t provide any alternative solution? Too challenging? I don’t think so.

Google, don’t be evil - update or remove it.
