I still remember when I was playing Mortal Kombat 3 on Celeron 133 MHz. In fact the whole series bring back a lot of great memories - every fatality made by your opponent was being like a slap straight in the face. So you were searching for some tutorials (think about paper press, there was no internet connection!), and then you were spending your time on crushing your keyboard learning new punches & improving your skills. After all you were able to pay asshat back & show off a little bit. Hah!
