Alright folks, as I promised I’m starting the Czech Republic Knockout Series. In order to get the ball rolling I decided to start my writings from the first name on my secret list of the prettiest Czech chicks - Petra Němcová. She is one of the world’s most popular fashion supermodels, and I guess you have heard about that girl before. She was dating with famous pop singer James “Bloody Cold” Blunt, for instance.
Few facts about Petra (if you want more go visit her page at Wikipedia):
- She was born June 24, 1979 in Karviná (north of Czech Republic, just take a look at the map, it’s so close to the border-line of Poland!)
- Petra Němcová was featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue (2003)
- Petra survived Tsunami on 2004 (broken pelvis, sounds really scary)
- she wrote a book (Love Always, Petra, December 2005)
- Petra participated in recent marketing campaign of Hewlett-Packard

Well played Bart, she is probably my favorite Czech. If she were Polish (so close but not quite) she would have definitely made my list.

Also, let’s not forget she was injured in and survived the horrible tsunami in 2004, definitely a tremendous woman.
