One of my compatriots interested in SEO is accused of insulting president of Poland. 23 years old Marek W is currently facing up to 3 years in prison and YES this time I am completely serious. Our buddy has written a piece of spammy software which was used to cheat search engines - and finally when people typed “dick” (translated from Polish of course) into Google search, they were getting president’s website as the first result. Joke was available online for a couple of months – right up to March this year. That’s when the joker was tracked by investigator from local police office.

I have no idea how Police figured him out, seems we do need more information about this event. It looks like played search results are already removed from both Google and Live.com. Fortunately, you are still able to check results in Yahoo (take a look at 9th position )
