Yahoo answers as a great source of traffic to your sites

Loren Baker wrote on Search Engine Journal about marketing in Yahoo Answers. I must say that I totally agree with you, Loren. Social network with over 90 million users worldwide with around 18 million users in the United States must be a really great source of traffic. By the way I would like to ask about the lack of friendly URLs on a website about Search Engine Optimization, but I won’t do it. Anyway, take a look why Matt from Small Business SEM is in love with Yahoo! Answers also.

That way of promotion looks pretty, but I am afraid that answering the questions might take too much time. Well, it’s timeconsuming one, but it seems to be a lot better than writing on forums, in my opinion.

Anyway, it looks like it works in fact, so maybe it’s time to think about building my own reputation on Yahoo Answers? I’ve checked a few questions in my niche (yep, I mean Search Engine Optimization of course!) and it looks like Yahoo Answers has lack of SEO experts. Just take a look on responds to that exemplary questionWhy site with no SEO work is ranking better than mine?’.

haye, can you please provide me the trackback link of your post, I m unable to find that here… Thanks!

@Mudassir: In case of Wordpress blog, it sends trackbacks automatically. If that doesn’t work, you can get proper trackback address when you add “/trackback/” to the base URL address of the post. For this one it should look like this.
