Okay, I know that which-browser-is-the-best-one-topic is a moot case, but I’ve decided to write another post in this issue. There are Firefox and Opera, both of them have their own advantages, disadvantages, zealots, fans, enemies… but it looks like a few days ago something has been changed. Closely to the moment that Mozilla shipped Firefox 2, that browser was screwed out of its biggest advantage. Yep, I mean extensions, some of them were really great. Why I’m writing that words in the past? Just because my favorite extensions don’t work correct with Firefox 2…
I’ve already changed back my default browser to Opera, so I didn’t noticed it earlier. But yesterday I wanted to check Seoquake Firefox extension, and… you know, I saw a lot of quite tags, symbols of ‘Something here doesn’t work correctly‘. If you think that using other SEO extension could be here a good solution, I’m afraid that you are wrong. Also I’ve checked other Firefox tool from Seo Book - and it doesn’t work, too. (update: hell yeah, it works!)
Cool Firefox extensions are the only one thing that is able to change my opinion to start using that browser. When that playthings are gone, I don’t have a dilemma. Opera is the best one, even though it doesn’t have any extensions. Other things just work better, it’s faster, and safer to surf the Web, too. Don’t be afraid to download and check it on your own.
