ShoeMoney and MediaWhiz have yesterday launched brand new ew ad network - AuctionAds. It uses eBay’s built in affiliate program, but it cuts down the work involved considerably. As you can read on ShoeMoney blog, it’s a revolutionary advertising network that allows publishers to create new revenue streams. Each time a user clicks on AuctionAds ad and then completes an action (bid, registration) on eBay, the publisher makes money. Wait a minute, did you say eBay? Jeremy, you are right, it’s really revolutionary network, revolutionary as the heck! Now I can earn bigger money on sites about Star Wars, Magic the Gathering cards, Commodore 64 and other nerdy things. I don’t have these sites, and that’s why I wrote in the title about decreasing the bid on your site’s income.
It seems still there are not any better solution for monetizing a product-related website than a smart combination of Google AdSense, Chitika eMiniMalls, and affiliate links to Amazon sales. You can’t have too many ads on your sites, so the only right way to use AuctionAds is to replace it with Chitika ones. I won’t do it until the cows come home, or I will start to write here only about Star Trek action figures. Chitika kicks ass. Of course sometimes there might be a special opportunity to earn on it a bigger cash, if you remember recent knockdown drag out fights for Playstation 3, for example, but who takes care on it?
AuctionAds is NOT a Cost-Per-Click program, it’s a Cost-Per-Action one. Ads it looks like Google AdSense with a heartening description (Current Bid and price that is nice), and small images of products. You can get paid for registration, but please tell me who has not an account on eBay yet? Yep, you are right, EVERYONE has an account on eBay! Next question - how many guests of your sites will click on these ads? Vaguely, it’s always vaguely number, you are right! I rub your nose in Cost-Per-Action, all traffic to eBay from your site is for free. Next question - how many users will bid with your ads? Yes, you are right again, a piddling number of users will bid! You won a ticket to the Revolutionary Florchakh Dot Com Full Feed Subscription Land…

I visit your site and it looks like you live in China. I don’t know why your comment was written from Dallas IP number, but it looks pretty interesting, so I leave it. Maybe someone will take advantages from your AuctionAds experience
